As a Texas Notary Public, I am not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, prepare legal documents, or perform acts that constitute the unauthorized practice of law. I may only perform notarial acts authorized under Texas law, including verifying identities, witnessing signatures, and administering oaths. All notarizations require the signer to appear in person or through an authorized remote notarization process, as permitted by Texas law.

The signer appears in person with a valid government-issued ID, signs the document (if required), and I verify their identity, complete the notarial certificate, record the notarization in my journal, and apply my official seal. The process usually takes just a few minutes.
